I made the special interview film for the CyberAgent Developer Conference (CADC 2022). On the stage of a conference where engineers and creators gather, I captured the words of one artist devoted to making things.
What I value in interview films
An interview is not a record of questions and answers. What a person truly wants to say lives between the words, in a passing pause or expression. From creating the atmosphere before the camera rolls, to lighting design and the rhythm of the edit, I did not miss the moments when the speaker's true self showed through, and finished a film that goes straight to the viewer's heart.
