Since 2019, I have made films with irodori branding Inc. to convey their brand concept. I met the CEO, Aya Muramoto, when I had just moved to Tokyo. She taught me the essence of marketing and branding and has had a great influence on my own life — someone I owe a great deal to. Building on years of trust, we worked together on three different projects: a concept film (2019), a brand film (2022) and the Hygge Forest project (2023).
2019 — Brand concept film
A brand concept film about letting your true self bloom, just as you are. Set in Itoshima, Fukuoka, it conveys that every person, product and service has a reason it came to be — and a place where it shines.
- Approach: branding that expresses the quiet strength within naturalness; dynamic drone footage and an emotionally resonant structure
- Response: resonated widely on the Natural Branding channel and established the early concept; embodied irodori branding’s core philosophy in image and words
2022 — Brand film
A full-scale brand film, “Everyone Who Is Born Has Meaning,” made over a year while traveling across Japan. Through the everyday lives of farmers, chefs, creators and others, it expresses the meaning every one of us is born with.
- Approach: an original song, “iro”; opening and closing on the same scene, so viewers feel their own change in perspective; real daily life, portrayed with care
- Response: screenings were held, and the film became a return to the starting point for students and staff; many messages such as “I was moved” and “It’s okay for me to be alive”
2023 — Hygge Forest
irodori branding opened Hygge Forest, a residential workspace 1,000 meters up in Hokuto, in the Yatsugatake mountains. To support its crowdfunding campaign, we produced concept films and photographs.
- Approach: a main film expressing the world of Hygge Forest; four interview films to spread empathy for the project; a short film that stays close to emotion
- Response: contributed to a successful crowdfunding campaign; moved supporters through film

Client’s Voice
No longer just a business partner — a fellow creator, building the work together.
He always engages directly to grasp feelings and a world that words alone can’t convey. I truly value a relationship in which we can speak frankly, without compromise.
Over six years since 2019 — from concept films to YouTube intros, an original song and documentary-style short films — I’m grateful for the days we spent taking on new forms of expression together.
